Call for Papers

The 2005 NEUDC Conference will take place at Brown University. As for previous conferences, all papers on economic development are welcome. If you are interested in presenting a paper, the abstract and/or paper must be submitted by May 15, 2005. Papers will be selected by June 15, 2005 (Note: this has been delayed until July 1 2005).

Faculty members may submit an extended abstract or paper. Ph.D. candidates need to submit both an extended abstract and the completed paper. We invite you to circulate this Call for Papers to all your colleagues who may be interested in submitting a paper.

How to submit your paper and/or abstract:

Papers/abstracts can be submitted online through Conference Maker beginning on April 15. To connect to Conference Maker, MAKE SURE YOUR BROWSER ACCEPTS COOKIES and click on the link below. The first time you do so, you will have to register. You will be prompted to choose a login name and a password, and to supply personal data such as name, e-mail address, etc. This done, you will be enabled to upload the abstract of your paper or provide an URL link to the entire paper. Note that you can first prepare the abstract using any word processor and paste it in the appropriate Conference Maker field.
