The Gregorian Quadrangle
Dormitory Housing, On-Campus
Limited number of single rooms, $40 per night

Conference housing is available at the Vartan Gregorian Quadrangle (Inn at Brown University) conveniently located on the Brown campus, Thayer Street.

The Rooms:

• Single occupancy rooms are available at $40 per night. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a single-sized bed, a desk and chair, a floor lamp, a dresser, a bookcase, and a closet.
• Sorry, but there are no air-conditioned double rooms, no rooms with double beds, and no rooms with private bathrooms.
• Rooms are made up with linen, pillow and case, blanket, two towels, a drinking glass and soap. Housekeeping does not make beds or clean rooms during the conference.
• The rooms are air-conditioned and each has individual cooling controls.
• Communal bathrooms are located on each floor. Each bathroom has four sinks, stalls and showers and is cleaned daily on weekdays.
• Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the basement of the dormitories.

Things You May Want To Bring:

• Alarm clock. Wake-up service is not possible.
• Iron.
• Telephone. Campus and local telephone service is provided at no charge but telephone instruments are not provided. Guests must bring their own telephones. You will need a credit card for long-distance service.
• Robe
• Shower sandals
• Travel kit or basket to carry your toiletries to the shower.

Check-In is at the Vartan Gregorian Quadrangle Office in Building A at 101 Thayer Street, near Charlesfield Street daily between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Parking can be provided in a University owned lot across the street from the Gregorian Quadrangle. This parking is $3.00 per car per night. Parking permits for these lots can be purchased at check in. Note: parking on city streets is prohibited by Providence City Ordinance.

TO RESERVE YOUR ROOM:
Print, complete and return the On-Campus Housing Registration Form. A Master Card, VISA, or American Express is required. Information must be received no later than May 20, 2004 in order to be confirmed. Reservations cannot be made by telephone. Any cancellations or changes should be made directly with Brown University Conference Services.
